![]() Computer and Communication Systems Laboratory (CCSL) was founded in 1999 as a research and educational unit in the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean, Greece. The Networking and Communications Research Group (NetComm) of CCSL focuses on research and development in the areas of computer networks, broadband and wireless communications, network management and multimedia communications. During the past years, the members of the group have been involved in several European and National funded projects and have acquired considerable experience in the areas of wireless and mobile networks (WLAN, 3G, B3G, 4G) and multimedia communication and applications. The group consists of six faculty members and three senior researchers with Ph.D. in the area of communications and networking, who supervise postgraduate research work of several PhD candidates and several highly qualified graduate engineers.
