The Hellenic Artificial Intelligent Summer School (HAISS) is a 4-days intensive school on advanced Artificial Intelligence topics. The school is organized by the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society in cooperation with Greek university departments and research institutes.  This year, the first year of HAISS, the school is co-organized by:

  • the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean, a department that hosts one of the Artificial Intelligence Labs of Greece, and that provides graduate courses on AI in the “Information Management” division of its MSc program,
  • the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a department that has a long history in Artificial Intelligence in Greece with many achievements, and
  • the International Hellenic University,  a university that aims to promote education meeting the needs of the international community and to enhance the understanding of economic, socio-political and technological issues.
