The iMinds-DistriNet's Secure Software research team of the KU Leuven is looking for a new phd to work in the area of Cyber-Physical System Security with focus on the automotive domain. This work will be conducted within the long-term research project "Security and Privacy for Cyber-Physical Systems and the Internet of Things". This is a collaborative project between COSIC and DistriNet researchers, as such collaborations and fruitful interactions with other PhDs working in the project are expected and welcomed.
This is a quite new research area, thus offering great opportunities to contribute to foundation work as well as proposing innovative solutions and technologies to the challenge of designing secure and privacy-aware CPS/IoT.
The research will involve also external companies and experts of the research domain. The PhD will have the opportunity to work with real test-beds in order to test and validate her/his research contribution.
