Content outline

Management of TCP/IP based networks. SNMP protocol. Database of Information Management. Abstract transmision syntax. Management of OSI networks. CMIP protocol. Tree of Information management. Comparison of management of OSI and TCP/IP systems. Management of bridged networks. Spanning tree algorithms. TMN prototype. Modern technics/methods of management WBM, CORBA, Java-based.

Learning outcomes

Evolution of knowledge of engineering communications and networks needed for professional rehabilitation or continuation of studies at postgraduate level.
Ability to interpret and judge scientific issues relating to the management of computer networks that are applicable to everyday life.
Promoting professional engineering consciousness to manage laboratory problems.
