Εκπαίδευση - Σπουδές
Ο Δρ. Κωνσταντίνος Μαλιάτσος έλαβε το πτυχίο της Σχολής Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών από το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο (ΕΜΠ) το 2003. Από το 2003, ξεκίνησε τη συνεργασία του με το Εργαστήριο Κινητών Ραδιοεπικοινωνιών (ΕΚΡ) του ΕΜΠ ως ερευνητής-μηχανικός σε διάφορα ερευνητικά προγράμματα (βιομηχανικά, ευρωπαϊκά ή εθνικά). Το 2005, απέκτησε τον μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών στη διοίκηση επιχειρήσεων (MBA) από το διαπανεπιστημιακό μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα σπουδών «Τεχνο-οικονομικά Συστήματα» που διοργανώθηκε από το ΕΜΠ, το Εθνικό Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και το Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς (ΠΑΠΕΙ). Ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται στη διδακτορική του διατριβή με τίτλο «Τεχνικές Μετάδοσης, Ανάλυση και Σχεδίαση Προσαρμοστικών Γνωστικών Συστημάτων Ραδιοεπικοινωνιών (Cognitive Radio)», το οποίο και ολοκλήρωσε επιτυχώς το 2011.
Ερευνητικά Ενδιαφέροντα
Τα τρέχοντα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα περιλαμβάνουν: θεωρία πληροφορίας με έμφαση στις ασύρματες επικοινωνίες, η μέτρηση και μοντελοποίηση ραδιοδιαύλων, οι επικοινωνίες μεταξύ οχημάτων (V2X), η μοντελοποίηση κινδύνων στα συστήματα επικοινωνιών και πληροφορικής, τα συστήματα κυβερνοασφάλειας, τα ευφυή συστήματα μεταφορών (Intelligent Transportation Systems), τα Software Radios, τα Cognitive Radios, οι τεχνικές δυναμικής χρήσης φάσματος, τα προηγμένα συστήματα MIMO και η εφαρμογή μηχανικής μάθησης στις τηλεπικοινωνίες.
