Department Presentation

The Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of the Aegean offers a five-year study programme leading to an integrated and undivided master-level degree (Integrated Master – Level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Framework), with admission from the 2nd and 4th Scientific Fields.

The programme, certified by ETHAAE, covers fundamental and contemporary areas of informatics and communications — from telecommunications networks, computer hardware and software technologies, to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data analytics and information systems.

Teaching is delivered by academics of international standing, with faculty members ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide.

Graduates hold recognised professional rights as Electronic Engineers, with eligibility to register with the Technical Chamber of Greece, and successfully join leading technology companies and academic institutions in Greece and abroad, with employment rates exceeding 90%.

Based in Samos, the Department combines high-level studies with a distinctive student life in a safe, welcoming and vibrant island environment.
