Department students take part in cultural, sports and technology groups, as well as the Student Association. Below you will find information and links for each activity.
Department students participate, gather and organize through the Student Association; its statute sets out the association's purposes and mode of operation.

Department students also establish and participate in cultural, sports and technology groups. You may contact group coordinators directly or the board for referral.
The student hangout "Algorithmos" has been housed since spring 2016 in Building D above the student residence dining hall. It is a multipurpose space for gathering, communication, sharing ideas and experiences, and broadening the horizons of students and the local community.
During the academic year, screenings, parties, concerts, presentations and other cultural and educational events are organized for recreation, information, exchange and affordable entertainment.
The space offers coffee and refreshments, a lending library, board games and video games, a swap corner, and a solidarity corner where anyone may leave goods for those in need.
We seek cooperation with other student and non-profit cultural, educational and scientific groups in the wider area, while working against student and social cannibalism, alienation and marginalization.
We believe the university is not a closed structure focused only on exams and academic careers; connecting students with each other and with society is equally important.
The decisive body of our group is its assembly. Decisions are taken horizontally and anti-hierarchically, with equal participation for all members. We oppose partisan use of the space.
We operate with conscious economic self-support. Our income is used entirely for upgrading the space and organizing events. Assembly members volunteer their time for café shifts.
Our core principles are direct democracy, self-management, social solidarity, anti-fascism and anti-sexism. Anyone who identifies with these values may become a member.

Theatre group «Erinyes»
The theatre group «Erinyes» is one of the creative student societies at the University of the Aegean in Samos. After one year of activity, our group is a space for expression where, through acting exercises, we explore the world of theatre and prepare our performances. We look forward to sharing the stage and the joy of creation with you!
