Students

• will learn the basic principles of IT project management and will be able to apply fundamental methods for managing the cost and duration of IT projects.
• They will be able to identify and mitigate major risks and identify critical success factors. They will be able to manage a project team and will know basic leadership styles.
• They will be able to evaluate IT project proposals and write a feasibility study. They will be able to use project management software.

Not required.

Lectures delivered using ppt slides. Students participate in in-class essays and exercises and have essays at home. Students study and discuss case studies in class. Educational material available in the eClass platform.
